“Colored Pants”

A fashion trend that makes an appearance once a decade has made its return, and we are kind of hoping this trend lasts for a while. Colored pants for men have been popular for years, but like any trend, it lasts for a season or two then it disappears. The last time this trend existed that we could think of was the early 1990’s when baggy colored jeans and party shirts were in style.

While some may shake their heads, and cross their fingers with hope that pictures of them in those baggy pants don’t turn up, you should not be embarrassed by your fashion choice. You were just part of a trend. We should all look back and take note of the good and the bad. The only positive would be the choice of color.

Today’s man has the option of a great fitting pant with the choice of many colors. If you’re thinking you may want to get yourself some colored pants, then there is only one thing we must stress: don’t buy every color! Figure out what colors work for you and only buy a few pairs. A number of stores have their own versions of these pants. You must ensure that the cut and rise of the pant look good on your body. H&M carries these pants in a variety of colors. Banana Republic has a few choices and even Target has a colored pant on their website for sale. Color is alive for spring 2012.
