Just Right & Just A Mess

The MTV Video Music Awards were held this past Sunday, and there were many fashion do’s & don’ts. Two people stood out of the pack to The Cufflink as best dressed and worst dressed respectively.

Ne-Yo: He could almost be classified as debonair. Ne-Yo takes his style seriously and every detail of his outfit is intentional.  During his performance with Pitbull of Give me Everything, Ne-Yo was wearing gray tuxedo pants, with a white collared shirt, paired with a blue velvet jacket. He tops it off with his signature fedora. If you look at the jacket he also has a gold pin on the lapel.  It’s this attention to detail that keeps Ne-Yo on the best dressed list

Honorable mention goes to Pitbull.  He paired red dress pants with a blue and white vertical striped collard shirt and a white blazer.

Lil Wayne: Wow.  Where do we start?  We know Lil Wayne has an image that he maintains with his fans, and that’s fine, but you can’t get away with just anything.

The tight leopard print was just simply wrong, that is all that can be said about this mess of an outfit. He pants mimic jeggings… and that is not a good thing. Please share your opinions of who you thought were the best and worst dressed at this years Video Music Awards.
